Prestigious Department Teaching Award

The Department of Accounting is proud to have earned NC State’s prestigious department teaching award. Individual faculty members have received teaching and research awards, served on national committees, and written and edited textbooks and journal articles.

Learning about the new MAC mentoring program on Orientation Day was a welcome surprise. Since high school, I’ve always made a point of finding at least one mentor. No one expects students to figure everything out alone. We always do better when we ask for help.

MAC faculty members formally mentor 10 to 15 students each. As the world changes, we will continue the mentoring program to ensure that they continue to feel seen and supported.
