Christina Lewellen and Nathan Goldman received the Poole College Research Impact Award at Poole’s year-end meeting. The award recognizes faculty whose recent research and thought leadership have advanced the college’s strategic priorities and created meaningful impact beyond academia.
Additionally, Mark Beasley and Scott Showalter were recognized as nominees for the UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence, one of the highest honors bestowed by the UNC System.

She`ll play a critical role in helping our students prepare for lifelong careers and success in the job market. Some of her responsibilities will include managing the Accounting Internship Recruitment Program, helping to arrange employment for new graduates, and developing employer partnerships.
Taylor comes to Poole College from the Columbia University School of Professional Studies, where she was Assistant Director/Career Coach at the Career Design Lab. She earned her MSEd in Higher Education from Baruch College and her BA from SUNY Geneseo.
