Nathan Goldman on Apple Coming to North Carolina
As automakers and other high-profile businesses migrate to North Carolina, Poole College associate professor of accounting, Nathan Goldman, analyzes the economic impact of one big name in particular.
Apple plans to develop 281 acres of land near Morrisville, and economists estimate the move could generate $846 million in tax incentives. However, some researchers called it a bad deal for the state.
Goldman disagrees. His findings suggest North Carolina could recoup its investment in as little as four years.
