EY Partner Jamelia Livingston ‘09 Named Jenkins Graduate Ceremony Speaker

Poole College of Management has announced Jamelia Livingston, MAC ‘09, a partner in EY’s Americas Professional Practice, as the commencement speaker for the spring Jenkins Graduate Ceremony on May 4. The ceremony will also be livestreamed from Reynolds Coliseum.

Livingston has over 13 years of experience in assurance roles that include coordinating EY services, leveraging her global network to meet the strategic needs of her clients, assisting them with business combinations, strategic development of their international operations and innovating the audit process through the use of technology.

“We look forward to welcoming Jamelia back to campus as our spring Jenkins Graduate Ceremony speaker,” said Nichole Miller, assistant dean of graduate programs. “Her global connectedness, strategic mindset and commitment to service are sure to be inspiring for our Think and Do graduates.”

Livingston received a Bachelor of Science in finance in 2008 from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University as well as a Master of Accounting from NC State Poole College of Management in 2009.

In the community, Livingston is a mentor and supports initiatives to further the development of youth in Charlotte. She is treasurer for Project One, a program that provides financial, personal and professional resources to youth seeking access to higher education. She also is a recipient of the “Best of the Best” award for Charlotte’s PrideMagazine in 2023.
