What type of job would you like to have after completing the MAC Program?

After graduation, I will be working for BDO USA as a Tax Associate in their downtown Raleigh, NC office.

Do you have any advice or tips you would like to give prospective students looking at applying to MAC programs?

If you are in undergrad at NC State, get to know some of the MAC faculty and staff to learn more about the program and to start building your network. If you are not in undergrad at NC State, reach out to someone on admissions to learn more about all the benefits that NC State’s MAC program has to offer.

Why did you choose the NC State MAC Program?

The friendly faculty and staff. I really enjoyed my time at NC State in undergrad and got to meet several different people with the MAC program and felt that I would enjoy the Jenkins MAC program just as much if not more than my time in undergrad.

What are your expectations while attending the MAC Program?

It has been great getting to meet all of my fellow MAC classmates and professors. What I have enjoyed the most is how personable the professors have been and how they try to get to know you, which you don’t normally get in undergrad. I expect to continue to meet new people in the program and to further my knowledge of accounting and develop my time management skills.

What are you looking forward to the most while in the Program? 

I am looking forward to meeting more people in the MAC program and getting a chance to work with a lot of them in teams throughout the year.
